Today marks 10 years since Upliftment Records unleashed to the world a Rickie Perplex debut EP 'African Reggae Ambassador ,this EP which had the hot singles like chuck dem outta di system ,South African girl, Coming all the way ,the same ,father and son came out shortly after the Dj Slaggy (Daddy Slaggy) mixtape The Future .Rickie Perplex who was managed by Deejay Iykfresh from the days he was working with Trinidad Studios run by Gaanwid joined Upliftment Records in 2011 and this led to a lots of international colloaboration with various producers from the UK and the Carribbean and selectors like Father Bentley which also opened up negotiations with Vpal Music a division of VP Records .
